Plus by Veronica Chambers

Another Story about a plus model. The Difference? This girl is older, more mature, and I like her better than Celeste from Models Don't Eat Chocolate Cookies. Bee is a very cool, down to earth kind of gal. She has personality, and a huge thirst for life that many characters don't have. I liked Bee and Chela alot. Savannah Hughes is awful though! What made her think she was better than everyone else? And Brian. Oh, Brian. He too was awful. What kind of a guy does something like that, then wants you back. He's obviously so not worth my time, so I shall stop.

Here's the blurb:

The perfect romantic makeover story about an every-girl whose dream comes true . . . Beatrice Wilson is our lovable Cinderella, who just got dumped by her very first boyfriend and put on twenty-five pounds. But then she's discovered as a plus model. In the eyes of pop culture, Bee is Jessica Alba and then some! Now she must vanquish skinny rivals, fend off sleazy photogs, and banish jealous frenemies in her rise to superstardom. All the while, she's torn between her first love and the surprisingly sincere up-and-coming rapper she tutors in calculus. But what's better than finding your prince charming? Finally learning to love yourself!

I will admit, that was not the Blurb that I read. The Blurb I read had a column.
I give this Book Three Stars.
