A book that I have read many times, and never seem to get tired of. The main character, Kristi, is kind of self absorbed but she makes up for it in creativity and humor. I kind of wish you could see it all from Gusty's view, because, hello, who doesn't want to hear a guys point of view? Also, don't any of ya'll kind of wish that you could get vibes? I'd probably hate it and become a cold and bitter....well you know.
Here's the Blurb:
Nothing is beyond Kristi Carmichaels still mad at her father, who walked out on them two years ago. Soon, a school project brings her together with Gusty, her father comes home and drops a bombshell, and a friend comes out of the closet, and suddenly she is left doubting that she can read people at all.Bitingly funny but ultimately poignant and positive, this YA novel is completely on the mark.
I give this Book Three Stars.
